Mission Statement

The purpose of the Compostwizzard.co.uk website is to promote the recycling and management of organic waste through composting or other energy efficient means. 

I have always felt a sense of gratification when plunging my hands into good quality compost and feeling it tumble through my fingers! There is pleasure in knowing that improving your soil gives life and health to plants and animals alike. So, the less we destroy habitats for landfill sites, the better.

Looking after our soil is vital as it supports life and enables us to grow food.  It is also a complex subject so this website aims to provide reference material concerning the biology and ecology surrounding the recycling of kitchen and garden waste in a way that will help you do your bit for the environment.  In the long run, you may produce healthier plants in your garden and so reduce harmful greenhouse gases.
